Celestion Blue 12" alnico Guitar speaker.The sound of the 60's now available again.
The classic Vox Bulldog, was in fact an Alnico Celestion driver, and these units are now made again to the original specifications, using a special alnico magnet.
During the 70's the price of cobalt rocketed, and it was no longer feasible to make magnets with this material and instead used ferrite magnets. The name al-ni-co comes from aluminium, nickel and cobalt. Now, Alnico is back for that retro tone, at a price of course. Made in England.
12 inch diameter, suitable for retro-fitting in many guitar combos and cabs.
