Allen & Heath PA12 - CP Mixer Amp / Powered Mixer.
The new powered mixer from Allen & Heath is a quality piece of kit and features the usual Allen & Heath build quality at a low price.
The PA12 CP features a "Constant Power" power amplifier which delivers a constant 500w per channel into either 4 or 8 ohm load.
The channels are all on individual circuit boards for easy servicing in its later years, it has 4 band eq on 8 of its 12 channels with a swept hi-mid control. The last 4 channels are configured as 2 stereo channels, with gain and treble and bass controls.
There is a nice reverb section with 16 presets. These can be changed via midi (midi socket on top panel). There is a digital 2 track out (SPDIF phono) for connection to minidisc or CD recorder/ digital multitracker.
There is a fully assignable power amp section matrix, which enables the power amps to run left/right stereo or any combination of mixer output and foldback output.
100mm faders for smooth fades.
